AIR AND GAS DRYER

Compressed Air/Gas Dryers

Compressed Air/Gas Dryers are mainly used in industries for various applications in pneumatic tools, pneumatic instruments, pneumatic machines and in a variety of production processes. The consequences of using wet air are rust and scale deposits in steel pipes, increased resistance in flow, malfunctioning of process control instruments, corrosion and damage to electromagnetic valves and pneumatic system, peeling and blistering effect on spray painted surface etc. Thus it will affect the quality of product and lead to excessive maintenance cost. Ideal compressed Air System: Air from the compressor has excessive moisture and contaminants. The sketch below shows a typical Compressed air system to remove these damaging impurities and get Clean and Dry air. When compressed to 7 Kg/cm2g the temperature of discharge air reaches around 140°C. The after cooler and Separator installed after the compressor will cool the air, and removes 90% of moisture and oil. For instance, when the compressor takes in 100 NM3/hr of ambient air at 40°C and 50% relative humidity, at 7 Kg/cm2g the after cooler will condense an average of 30 liters of water in 24 hours. If the outlet air temperature from the after cooler is 40°C, it still contains 8000 ppm moisture. At 45°C compressed air contains 10,500 ppm, at 50°C, 13,500 ppm moisture which is removed by Air Dryer. Therefore, lower the temperature of air at dryer inlet, smaller would be the size of Air Drying Unit.

We manufacture a wide range of Compressed Air Dryers Machine, which are great in demand in domestic and international market.

Few of them are listed below for your reference :
  • Heat Reactivated Type Air Dryers
  • Heatless Type Air Dryers
  • Heat of Compression Type Air Dryers
  • Refrigerated Type Air Dryers
  • No Purge Loss Type Air Dryers

Applications
The compressed air dryers based on PSA technology has a broad range of commercial applications. They are the following:
  • Replace Bottle Nitrogen
  • Air Bearings
  • Thermal Test Equipment
  • Dry Boxes
  • Purge Electrical Boxes
  • Pneumatic Instrumentation

HEATED TYPE OF AIR DRYER

This type of air dryer are used for obtaining low Dew point of (-)60oC or (-)80oC of compressed air or gas.
In this design, the desiccant is regenerated at higher temperature, along with small quantity of Dry air purge.. The Drying unit has 2-vessels filled with Activated Alumina or Molecular sieves desiccant. One vessel remains in drying cycle for 4 hours, while other vessel is simultaneously in regeneration cycle.

Model Name NE-HT
Flow Rate 5 to 3000 Nm³ / hr
Dew Point (-)40°C to (-)80°C
Operating Pressure 0.5 -50 BAR

Heatless Type Air Dryers

Our heatless compressed air dryer is the simplest form of gas or air dryer for achieving a dew point of -40°C or better for compressed air systems and other gas and air dryer applications. The operating cost of this dryer is also low as there is no heating elements involved in the process. Thus for (-)40°C dew point applications, we recommend our NE-HL MODEL of dryer.

HOC /NO PURGE LOSS Type Air Dryers

In HOC type dryer Compressed air is directly fed to the inlet of air dryer, at 120°C(minimum) temperature. This hot air is passed through one vessel which help in regeneration of desiccant in the tower. After picking up moisture from desiccant bed, the air is cooled in an intermediate cooler. Here moisture is condensed and removed by auto drain valve. Cooled to 40°C, this air passes through the second drying vessel where moisture gets adsorbed and Dry air comes out

MODEL NAMENE-NPD
Flow Rate 500 -5000CFM
DEW POINT (-) 40°C

REFRIGERATED TYPE AIR DRYER

Our refrigerated type of air dryer is based on principle of the removal of moisture by cooling air to certain present temperature. As there is no concept of cooling of a body. Cooling refers to the removal of the heat from a body. The air to be dried is subjected to the pre cooler unit and evaporator unit. After this air get condensed and this moist air is passed through a moisture separator where moisture is drained out by centrifugal action of air

MODEL NAMENE-NPD
Flow Rate 14 TO 1000 CFM
DEW POINT (-) 30°C
refrigerated

EXO/ENDO GAS GENERATOR

We are manufacturer of the compact Endo gas generator which is based on single catalytic cracking of LPG or natural gas with very small amount of air at such a rate that the product gas after cracking contains only CO, H2, N2 and traces of CO2 and moisture Such generator are very useful in the heat treatment of the carbon steels.

MODEL NAMENE-EDG
Flow Rate 3- 200 NM³ / hr
Gas Composition AS PER FEED GAS
refrigerated

Our NE-EXG model of generator is like the same as the NE-EDG MODEL except the more perfect combustion which produces the gas rich in H2 and CO. These generators are generally used in the metal industry.

MODEL NAMENE-EXG
Flow Rate 3- 200 NM³ / hr
Gas Composition AS PER FEED GAS

Exo-gas (lean ratio) : These atmospheres ranging from 90 % to 98 5 of perfect combustion have the following composition :

• CO : 28 to 30% • H2 : 20 to 25%
• CO2 : 0.1 to 0.5% • N2 : Balance

These are normally used for bright annealing of copper, scale-free annealing of brass and similar operation on non-ferrous metals.

Exo-gas (rich ratio) : The protective gas rich in CO and H2 is known as rich exo gas and is generated within 55% to 90% of perfect combustion, the gas composition will be:

• CO : 28 to 30% • H2 : 20 to 25%
• CO2 : 0.1 to 0.5% • N2 : Balance

The composition of atmosphere gas depends on composition of fuel also. The presence of reducing constituents CO & H2will effectively prevent the oxidation of many metals. However, with the presence of CO2, the atmosphere becomes de-carburizing in character.
